Remmel & Associates, Inc. is a third-generation, family-owned insurance and investment agency proudly serving individuals, families, and brokers for more than 80 years.
Founded by Robert Remmel, our firm was built on the values of trust, transparency, and personal attention—principles that continue to guide us today. As an independent agency, we provide access to a wide range of insurance and investment solutions, tailored to meet each client’s unique goals.

Meet our team
Ryan Remmel
Owner
Ryan has been with Remmel & Associates since 2010. He has lived in the Fox Cities area his entire life, except for his college years spent at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. Since 2016, Ryan has qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table each year, Court of the Table three times and in 2022 he qualified for Top of the Table.
He is married to his wife, Kelly, and together they have two amazing daughters, Scotland who is 8 and Charlotte who is 4. His work and family life keep Ryan very busy, but he still finds time to be a number one sports fan. He enjoys watching the Badgers, Brewers, Bucks and Packers. Ryan also thoroughly enjoys the summer months and being outdoors.
Ryan is now the third generation to continue the work begun by his Grandfather in 1945.
Darrell Remmel
Insurance Consultant
Darrell began his life insurance career as an agent for American General Life his junior year in college. After graduation, he joined the family agency in Appleton, Wisconsin, and it was at this time he became associated with The Old Line Life Insurance Company of America. The agency began to grow and added an associate General Agency in Houston, Texas. This allowed further growth in marketing life insurance and annuities through financial institutions in 49 states. At this time, the agency expanded the brokerage sales to over 500 independent and career insurance agents.
During this time, Darrell became a member of the Wisconsin Life Leaders' Club, qualified for The National Quality Award, became a Life Member of The Million Dollar Round Table and was a two time qualifier for Court of the Table. Among his numerous awards, in 1994, Darrell earned the Old Line Life's $500 Million Dollar Agency Award. Darrell is also past president of The Fox River Valley Life Underwriters Association.
While in the United States Navy, Darrell served for one year at McMurdo Sound, Antarctica and two years in the Panama Canal Zone. Community activities included working with Appleton youth baseball programs and The Boy Scouts of America, being a member of The Fox Cities Racquet Club, and serving as President of The Appleton Northside Kiwanis.
